PAGO DEL VICARIO
Pago del Vicario is a paradise for those who love wine culture as well as for those who are not great enthusiasts.This winery has a modern hotel, both elegant and comfortable, a restaurant with a high quality creative menu, interesting wines and a varier¡ty of different activities.
Only 50 minutes from Madrid in the AVE and minutes from Ciudad Real, Pago del Vicario is situated in an absolutely marvelous location. The facilities are surrounded by 100 hectars of vines and by countriside with a variety of trees, animals and vegeatation; the Guadiana river is only a few metres away. The wines are planted with Tempranillo, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Petit Verdot amongst others.
The hotel is designed in a modern and minimalistic fashion, with ample rooms and large windows with beautiful views and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. In the near future, the complex will be equipped with a padel court, a tennis court and a complete spa. The current swimming pool, which is a dream, will be heated so that it can be used throughout the year.
The facilities also offer conference halls which are equipped with all the latest technologies in order to carry out meetings, conferences and seminars. There is aldo a shop wher the magnificent wines from the winery and some great Manchego cheeses from Villadiego can be purchased.
Pago del Vicario is an ideal place to conductbusiness meetings, total immersion courses, or simply spend some quality time resting in nature’s surroundings eating good food and tasting great wines. It is, with out a doubt, one of the best enotorism hotels in Europe, especially when all the facilities are completed.
